particularly road cycling. Over a 13-year period, I progressed to the stage where I rode in the Tasmanian Institute of Sport (TIS) team for 6 years. Despite competing in many cycling events, some real highlights included the opportunity to race on a team for the National Road Series and competed internationally in New Zealand and Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>During my years of cycling, I received many massages and gained first-hand experience of the benefits massage offers in performance and injury prevention.<\/p>\n<p>As time passed, I met my wife Gabby and my priorities changed. I moved on from cycling and entered the tourism industry as a tour guide. For several years I had the pleasure of escorting local and international guests through many of Tasmania\u2019s wilderness treasures, such as Maria Island, Freycinet, Bay of Fires and the Overland Track.<\/p>\n<p>For quite some time, I had my sights set on studying remedial massage.
